Tree and Shrub Care Program

We know how important your trees are to you and the value of your home.   Unfortunately, many of the problems caused by insects and diseases go unnoticed until it is too late.   Our specialists are expertly trained to recognize potential problems and treat them accordingly.

Winter Dormant Oil

This application protects trees and shrubs against scale, borers, spider mites, and other overwintering insects that could cause potential damage.  It is best to spray before buds begin to swell.

If buds of trees and shrubs have begun to swell slightly, we will go ahead and spray.  Although some of the buds may be damaged, the benefits of spraying dormant oil far outweigh the possible repercussions.  We do not spray trees which are in full bloom however.

Applying a dormant oil spray can serve to cover pruning cuts and serve as a second attack on stubborn pests which were not killed by an earlier oil application. The closer the application is made to budbreak, the greater the kill.

Spring Fertilization

Trees and shrubs are often forgotten when it comes time to fertilize the yard in the Spring. Fertilized trees and shrubs will soak up nitrogen, grow quickly, develop a dense foliage and stay healthy into the Fall.

Early Growth Protection

This application protects against insects and early season fungus such as powdery mildew, anthracnose, scab and many varieties of leaf blight.

Target Plant Protection

Stage 1 care of mites, aphids, bagworms, leaf miners, caterpillars and other insects as they are starting to hatch and feed.

Mid-Season Foliage Protection

Stage 2 protection is a follow-up insect application to further strengthen the plant’s health and vigor.

Deep Root Fertilization

This application promotes root growth to help plants recover from summer stress. Also helps prepare plants for winter.

Together we can develop a program specifically designed to increase the health and appearance of your landscape while remaining cost-effective!
